12/6/2004 : PURPLE SENSI LATEST
Hmm, no updates in ages. Bad news. I do, however, get the feeling there are some updates to come. I may even run a Euro 2004 special tournament. There are also exciting developments coming your way in the form of an online shop offering Sensible Software T-Shirts and memoribilia, providing I can get the relevant permissions etc...

04/01/04 : HAPPY NEW YEAR SENSI FANS!
Hi all, just thought I'd post a quick message to wish you all a very Sensible 2004 and to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you guys! Truth is, theres not much to update the site with these days, as everything is very quiet on the Sensible scene. However, I will be chasing the elusive Jon Hare interview in 2004 and will keep my eye out for any developments on the Sensi scene in 2004. In the meantime stay Sensible! - Phil Marsay.
24/8/03 : NEW FORUM OPENS AT PURPLE SENSI!!

much dead as a dodo, please support this new forum and may it
become THE meeting place for Sensi fans young andl old. You don;t

23/6/03 : Post a question for Jon!
Jon has very kindly agreed to answer some questions for the site.
If theres anything you want to ask him, please post it on the
following form. I will then pick a number of the best ones to
help make up the interview!!
13/6/03 : Greetings from Jon Hare!!
Jon Hare has been in touch with me recently to offer some content
for the site. Hopefully, that will be coming soon!
Jon is currently working as a consultant in the games industry
- doing some games design and negotiatating business deals with
a number of well known and unknown british software developers.
Information on one of his latest projects - "Dinosaur Movie
Maker" can be found in the latest editions of PC Gamer and
Edge magazine.
8/6/2003 : UKSWOS is back!

SWOS site, offering the download of SWOS 2002/2003, an updated
version of SWOS for y'all to play with! Find UKSWOS in the links
pages, or, just click here!
8/6/2003 : Sensi pages back up
I have recently been made aware that the Sensible Software section
of my site has been down for some time.... well... not any more.
It is back up, along with all of the many games downloads that
come along with it! Woohoo!
27/4/03 : Latest news - there is no news!!!!
The SWOS world is incredibly quiet these days. Hence Purples lack
of recent activity. However, worry not, Purple is not going anywhere,
and rest assured if I hear of any interesting new developments,
you will be able to read all about them here!
27/4/03 : Time to lay Sensi to rest
Given how quiet things have been in the Sensible world of Sensible
these days, I think its finally time to say that Sensible Software
is no more. Codemasters seem to have no intention whatsoever of
doing anything with the vast and impressive back-catalogue of
Sensible games, and that is truly a sad sad loss to themselves
and to the gaming world.
May Sensible Software rest in piece, and I'm sure I speak for
you all when I say a big thank you to all who sailed in her, for
providing us with years of vintage gaming fun. Purple Sensible
shall forever remain as a long standing tribute to the last "sensible"
games development company...
27/2/03 : Purple is Back (AGAIN!!!)
Well, once again, apologies for Purples absence, but I have had
MORE problems with my hosting account. Anyways, I won;t go into
details, but I am assured that it is all sorted out now, so hopefully,
Purple is back for good this time!!
27/2/03 : Superleague Deadline Extended - Please resend your
files!!
Due to my ongoing server problems, the deadline for the superleague
has been extended til the 15th March. If you have already sent
me your file, can you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE send it to me again,
as there is a good chance it may have got lost in the midst of
my hosting problems. Thanks.
25/1/03 : UKWST Website Moves To Purple
Purple has taken over the UKWST Website. For the moment you can
find it within the SWOS section of the site, but it will be moved
to its own deditcated pages as it grows larger over the coming
months. Check it out here
now!
25/1/03 : New Sensi 98 Tournament
Ross Mayhew, webmaster of one of the few remaining SWOS sites
is aiming to launch a new Sensi 98 tournament. For more information,
visit his site at http://www.sensi98.2ya.com
.
12/1/03 : UK World SWOS Tournament?
There are rumblings in the SWOS community regarding the possibility
of staging a UK World SWOS Tournament, similar to that which is
held in Yugoslavia every year. It sounds like a great idea to
me. It is something which is long overdue! Will plans ever get
off the ground, who knows, but I'll certainly be interested to
see how things develop. Check out http://www.geocities.com/ukwst/
if you want more information!
12/1/03 : Crispin storms to top of Superleague table
With an impressive Christmas superleague performance, Crispin
has surged to the top of the superleague table, with Enigma still
floundering around in mid-table obscurity! Check out the latest
standings and download the January superleague file at the superleague
pages. The number of entrants for the Christmas superleague
was double taht of the first month. Lets continue that trend and
double it again!!
5/1/03 : Purple is back!!
After a long absence, Purple is finally back on your screens!
Apologies for the absence but I have been having all kinds of
problems and arguments with my hosts due to me apparently going
over my bandwidth. Anyways, I ended up ditching them and moving
to a new home. So, hopefully, those problems are behind me now
and Purple will have a nice long stay on its new servers! Apologies
to anyone who has mailed me over this period but I have not been
able to receive your mails, and it is unlikely that I will now,
so please mail me
again now that I have things sorted (hopefully)
5/1/03 : Superleague deadline extended
Due to the problems I've had with Purple, and the fact that Purple
has not been around over the festive period, I have extended the
Superleague deadline for another week. You now have until this
Saturday (11th January) to enter. It's a really good, fun competition,
so be sure to get yourself over to the superleague pages and download
it! Many thanks to Crispin of SWOS 24/7 who hosted the Superleague
file while Purple was down (and will continue to joint-host it
from now on, I believe).
If anyone sent Superleague files to superleague@purplesensi.co.uk
can you please re-send them, as due to server problems (see above)
I will not have recieved them!! Thanks!
5/1/03 : Happy New Year!!
Happy new year to everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the festive
period and are ready to get down to some serious SWOS playing
this year ;-)
